A bit of info about the collection

I decided to keep my identity anonymous in case anyone happens to come across this website by some strange stroke of luck. With that being said, I however will still include the personal reasons as to: Why I decided to create this collection, what it means to me, and the future I have for this collection once it has been completed.

The reason I created this Digital Archive

I used to be, and still am but not to the same extent as I used to be, a huge Pokemon fan. I loved playing the games (I started off by playing Pokemon Y on my 3DS), collecting the cards, and playing with the cards with my friends ever since I was in elementary school. As time went on I saw that the Pokemon company was pumping out new games every year with the same recycled premise: 8 gyms, elite 4, champion, post game content, the whole shabang. I, like most fans, still liked the game and held out hope that in the future the quality of the games might improve, I mean why wouldn't they? As time goes on things tend to improve, technology gets better and more sophisticated…I wanted to make my own custom set of pokemon cards based on the main country of my book, Eldoria, The Golden Land, and some of the characters that are from that country.

What The Collection means to me

This collection is a place where I can let my ideas flourish, a sandbox of limitless potential capped only by my own imagination and creativity. Whether it's based on an idea from my book “Shattered Stars” or something that I think of or see while at work, I simply jot it down, revise it later and decide whether or not it should be implemented into this collection. Working on this collection, by that I mean designing the certain Pokemon that will go in each section of the country, has been rewarding and has filled me with a sense of fulfillment. Every day that I work on this project and see my efforts compound… and also keep track of personal goals like having my custom cards autographed by the people they are inspired by…

The future of The Collection

I plan to eventually have these cards fully printed so I can hold them in my very own hands and have the pleasure of saying “I created this”. Along with getting the cards printed, another goal I have is to get the cards autographed in real life by the celebrities some of my cards are based on. Those celebrities, though I'm not sure if I should call them celebrities as they're more like niche TV stars but then again most celebrities start off like that, are M1ss Jade So, Minty Fresh, Its Bosco, and Aurora Matrix, to name a few. Though the collection is still in progress and more might need to be added, for now these are the main ones.

I credited every artist in their respective card and must thank them for their efforts in helping me achieve this dream of mine, though if for some reason someone manages to come across this page and wishes to find the artists credited with creating these amazing pieces of art I'll list them below.
